Thanks to the Call for proposals for the creation of literary tourism itineraries in Friuli Venezia Giulia, launched by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region within the European Project DANTE, the cultural initiative 'Passeggiate d'Autore' was conceived and carried out by the Cultural Association AvA - Arte Vita Anima. The project promoted a cycle of three literary tourism walks led by contemporary local authors.
The first walk, led by Odette Copat, engaged a predominantly female audience and guided it through major symbolic places of the city of Pordenone that inspired the romance 'Come si esprime un desiderio'.
In the Tagliamento area, Tullio Avoledo led the second walk which attracted an audience attentive to environmental issues, landscape protection and territorial stewardship. Here, the guiding thread was the dialogue between these themes and the novel Come si uccide un gentiluomo.
Ultimately, the third and last walk, led by Alberto Cancian, involved an introspective audience oriented towards experiential exploration, and accompanied them into the wild nature of Pradis. The walk highlighted the relationship between writing, nature, and inner growth, perfectly in line with the book 'Viaggio di Gioia'.
In parallel, short documentaly films were produced in order to promote the itineraries, along with three digital narrative maps designed to guide the public towards the places featured in the project.
