The objective of the Peer Exchange Learning Visits is to organise on-site peer visits, that promote mutual learning between partners working on sustainable tourism across the Mediterranean area. The aim is to ensure the transfer of knowledge and the replication of best practices learned during the peer visit in the territories of the visiting projects' partners. This approach enables partners to identify and exchange tools, methods, approaches, good practices and governance models, thereby enhancing their own projects through lessons learned from others. Additionally, the Peer Exchange Learning Visits foster the creation of connections between projects, new networks, and stakeholder synergies that extend beyond the scope of individual programmes.
Eligible costs associated with the Peer Exchange Learning Visits will be covered by the participating projects within the framework of their ongoing operations and budgets. In this context, the respective programmes will consider eligible costs related to travel, accommodation, staff time, and any other organisational expenses strictly necessary for conducting the visits. Projects are expected to cover any costs arising from activities outside the eligible area from their own budget.
Guidelines and the Application Package will be published in this section once the final documentation is adopted. A public event will also be organised to explain all the required procedures.
