From December 3rd to 5th 2025, the Interreg Italy–Slovenia Programme took part in the 9th plenary meeting of the INFORM EU network, held at the European Solidarity Centre in Gdańsk (Poland). The Programme was represented by Nastja Foraus, who joined communicators, managing authorities and representatives of European programmes from all Member States.
The meeting, organized by the European Commission and Polish authorities, focused on communication of EU-funded projects, with particular attention to storytelling, beneficiary engagement and new approaches to making results more visible across territories.
During the various plenary sessions and thematic workshops, several crucial topics were addressed, including:
the role of communication in the next Multiannual Financial Framework 2028–2034;
techniques for presenting complex or sensitive projects;
improving project events through more creative and participatory formats;
the importance of treating each project as a real brand, with targeted and professional strategies.
Nastja Foraus also took part in interactive activities and exchanges among programmes, sharing the experience of Interreg Italy–Slovenia and discussing with colleagues from all over Europe on good practices to increase the impact of cross-border initiatives on the public.
The Programme’s participation in the event confirms its ongoing commitment to strengthening the communication of opportunities and results financed by the European Union, so that citizens and territories can better understand the benefits of cooperation.
