The presentation of the cross-border strategy for a sustainable, resilient and inclusive literary tourism offer took place at Villa Widmann On Thursday, 22 January 2026 in Mira, Italy.
The event was organised by the Municipality of Ceggia and addressed to stakeholders from the Veneto region.
The event was held within the framework of the DANTE project, co-financed by the European Union through the Interreg VI-A Italy–Slovenia Programme.
In the presence of local administrators and representatives from the cultural, commercial and tourism sectors, Dr Aleksandra Kregar, marketing expert, presented the strategic plan for the creation of the new literary tourism product that is the objective of the DANTE project, while publisher Andrea Mazzanti provided an overview of the proposal for the Veneto region, with a particular focus on the Metropolitan City of Venice area.
At the end of the morning session, participants enjoyed a guided tour of Villa Widmann, a historic residence along the Riviera del Brenta, followed by the lunch and networking.
The event was held in Italian and Slovenian, with simultaneous interpretation.
