On Wednesday, 28 January 2026, the council chamber of the Municipality of Tolmezzo hosted a presentation of the cross-border strategy aimed at developing a sustainable, resilient and inclusive literary tourism offer. The event was organised within the framework of the DANTE project, co-financed by the European Union through the Interreg VI-A Italy–Slovenia Programme.
The event brought together representatives of municipal administrations, stakeholders from the cultural and tourism sectors, and local educational institutions. The programme opened with introductory remarks by representatives of the Municipality of Tolmezzo, followed by a presentation of the strategy delivered by an external expert in strategy and marketing.
The presentation focused on defining the marketing strategy and outlining sustainable and resilient approaches designed to encourage the involvement of local communities and cultural practitioners, as well as the development of innovative tourism products linked to literary heritage.
Following the presentation, participants were invited to complete a final questionnaire. The event concluded with a networking session accompanied by refreshments, offering an opportunity to further strengthen cooperation among project partners and stakeholders.
The presentation was conducted in Slovenian, with simultaneous interpretation into Italian.
