The Interreg Italy-Slovenia Programme participated in the meeting “European programming and youth: the role of the Friuli Venezia Giulia. Cohesion policy and European territorial cooperation: work opportunities and development for the territory.”, organised by the Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia together with the Interreg Volunteer Youth Programme and the Department for Political and social sciences of the University of Trieste.
At the meeting, which took place at the premises of the University of Trieste on 13 May 2025, we were invited to present the activities of the Programme and the opportunities within it for young people. The event was an excellent opportunity for students to learn about cohesion policy and European Territorial Cooperation, as well as about the Interreg programmes and European Groupings for Territorial Cooperation that are active in the region and to see what opportunities are offered to young people within them.
