On 21 September 2026, to mark Interreg Cooperation Day, the winning teams of the second edition of Students4Cooperation took part in a study visit to Piran, discovering concrete examples of cross-border cooperation and the area's rich cultural and maritime heritage.
The day began at the Sergej Mašera Maritime Museum in Piran, a partner of the Interreg Italy-Slovenia project MARE SUPERUM, where students learned more about the project and the area's rich maritime traditions. The visit continued with a guided tour of Piran's historic town centre.
The students then visited Tartini House, where the TARTINI BIS project and some of its tangible results achieved through cross-border cooperation were presented. The visit also offered an opportunity to discover the genius of Giuseppe Tartini, not only as an outstanding violinist and composer, but also as a scholar and innovator.
