On June 27th, 2025 the Managing Authority of the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia Programme had signed the subsidy contract for the standard project CONCORDIA.
The CONCORDIA project addresses the new challenges due to seismic and landslide risks in the cross-border area between Italy and Slovenia. The project aims to overcome the fragmented strategies of the two countries and to implement integrated systems for real-time monitoring and response. These tools will not only improve the response to emergencies, but also foster better long-term planning of risk mitigation strategies.
The Lead Partner of the project is University of Trieste, which will cooperate with 4 Project Partners and 3 Associated Partners.
