On November 4th, 2024 the Managing Authority of the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia Programme had signed the subsidy contract for the standard project DigARegion!
The DigARegion project addresses an important common challenge, i.e. the lack of cross-border accessibility for the most vulnerable groups (e.g. disabled, blind and visually impaired, deaf and hard of hearing, etc.). Properly implemented digitisation should improve lives, simplify procedures, make information and services more accessible. However, due to frequent inconsistency in compliance with accessibility regulations, the gap has widened. The project therefore aims to simplify the design and implementation of measures to improve digital accessibility in the cross-border region.
The Lead Partner of the DigARegion project is Mestna občina Nova Gorica, which will cooperate with 5 Project Partners and 8 Associate Partners.
