On March 8, the Magazin Grando in Portorož-Portorose hosted Tartini Electronic, a night dedicated to sound experimentation, merging the music of Giuseppe Tartini with the energy of electronic music.
The event, organized by the Italian Union as part of the TARTINI BIS project, featured an international lineup of artists who reinterpreted some of the Maestro delle Nazioni’s most renowned compositions through an electronic lens. Following the performance of the Bodam Project duo, one of the most anticipated acts of the night, DJ Benjamin Shock transformed the Violin Concerto in G minor into an unprecedented electronic version, while musician Abel Modic presented a bold remix of the famous Sonata "The Devil’s Trill", blending original melodies with psytrance elements.

The event showcased a dynamic interplay of hybrid DJ sets, live performances, and immersive visuals curated by Urša Čuk (RastrLab), crafting a multisensory experience that guided the audience on a journey between tradition and innovation. From midnight onwards, Tartini Electronic continued to push sonic boundaries with performances by Proteus Noir, Tomy Declerque, and Zeta Reticula, also known as DJ UMEK, a globally renowned DJ.
Through Tartini Electronic, Tartini’s music proved to be strikingly contemporary, capable of inspiring new generations and seamlessly integrating with modern soundscapes, offering fresh perspectives for listening and reinterpretation.
