Within the framework of the Interreg Mediterranean Multi-Programme Mechanism (MMM), launched in 2022, and after the “Paths That Last” conference held in Split, Croatia, on 25–26 June 2025, which brought together over 350 stakeholders from across the Mediterranean, successful Interreg projects were showcased and new initiatives were launched. Thematic workshops also addressed various topic of common interest.
In this context, a coordinated MMM call for capitalisation projects has been developed. The Terms of Reference (ToR) were drafted jointly by all Interreg Programmes participating in the MMM, in collaboration with Interact and TESIM. Each programme is, however, solely responsible for approving and implementing its ToR and for presenting it to its potential beneficiaries in accordance with its internal management rules. The coordinated MMM call focuses on sustainable tourism topics.
Beneficiaries of the Interreg Italy–Slovenia Programme interested in the above-mentioned topics will have the opportunity to participate in the Call as partners or associated partners, depending on their area of origin, in accordance with the rules that will be presented on 16 June during the joint presentation of the Call. Further details will be provided in due course.
In addition, in order to continue the cooperation initiated in Split with projects from other programmes, the Programme will offer its beneficiaries the opportunity to participate in similar initiatives, such as “Peer Learning & Study Visits”.
