In recent weeks, we had the opportunity to present the digital thematic trails, developed within the cross-border project BEroots – Between rivers and lagoons: artistic routes, on two radio stations.
On Radio Koper, in the program Opoldnevnik (from 6:08 onwards), we introduced all three developed trails to listeners. We highlighted their content, purpose and unique features, which allow visitors to discover Vipava and Podnanos in a special way – through history, culture and art.
On Radio Robin, in the Wednesday morning program New thematic trails in the Vipava Valley, we presented the process of creating the digital thematic trails, their main themes and flow. We also talked about the first impressions of visitors who have already experienced the trails, as well as about the activities we are still planning within the BEroots project.
The new trails were also covered by RTVSLO MMC in the article Three new thematic trails in Vipava.
Through these media appearances, the BEroots project is gradually making its way into the public sphere, as we wish for both the local community and the wider public to discover new opportunities for active, creative and culturally rich exploration of the Upper Vipava Valley. The digital thematic trails are designed as an accessible and contemporary way of experiencing heritage, while at the same time encouraging intergenerational connections and new experiences.
We sincerely thank both radio stations and RTV Slovenia for the opportunity to bring the project closer to the public and thus contribute to the greater visibility of the BEroots project and of the Vipava Valley as a sustainable tourism destination.
