Thanks to the Call for proposals for the creation of literary tourism itineraries in Friuli Venezia Giulia, promoted by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region within the activities of the European project DANTE, the Pro Torviscosa Association developed the project ‘Torviscosa Letteraria’.
The initiative was created with the aim of enhancing Torviscosa’s cultural heritage and identity through the development of a multimedia guide that guides visitors in discovering the town’s most significant places.
The videos were recorded thanks to the involvement of young actors who portrayed authors and characters drawn from previously selected literary works. Each video tells the story of a symbolic place in Torviscosa, such as the main square, the industrial plant and the employees’ club, through literature and the inspiration these locations provided to various writers.
