Also this year, the Interreg Italy-Slovenia Programme will be a key player in Brussels at the European Week of Regions and Cities 2025. On October 14, 2025, a Participatory Lab entitled “Stronger Together: Turning Cross-Border Synergies into Future Growth” will be organized at the Liaison Office of the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. The Lab aims at enhancing synergies between Interreg and Mainstream programmes and stimulating co-project development and joint actions for concrete growth opportunities in forthcoming 2028-2034 EU programming period . The focus of the Lab will be on cultural/creative industries and sustainable tourism.
