The kick-off meeting for the WoodInnovate project, which is part of the Interreg Italy-Slovenia programme, was held 10. 6. 2025 at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia. Host Igor Milavec, Director of the Association of the Wood and Furniture Industry, delivered the first speech of the meeting. This was followed by an introduction of the other participants (institution and role in the project). The project coordinator, Prof. Dr. Miha Humar, presented the project's main starting points (objectives, timetable, expected results, and performance indicators). The representatives of each partner organization then introduced themselves and their roles in the project. The work package leaders outlined the objectives and main tasks for each work package and agreed on joint activities with the other participants. The coordinator then presented the data management plan, reporting structure, and deadlines. Finally, we agreed on tentative dates for future meetings.
