The "Cross Stories" project aims to preserve and promote the cultural heritage of Gorizia and Nova Gorica through an educational and empowering approach for the younger generation. Its innovation lies in the creation of a digital show called "The Telescope that Breaks Down the Border Stories" to improve access to cultural heritage. The project includes cross-border events and the installation of about 10 telescopes through which a glimpse of the city will be visible. One part of the visual field will consist of a printed archival image of Gorizia or Nova Gorica, taken from exactly the same perspective, while the other part will be a real-time view of the city. In addition, cross-border workshops will be organized for children and youth on past history. The other goal seeks to increase the attractiveness of the area by promoting cross-border cultural tourism through the digitalization of the cultural heritage of the two Gorizia cities.
