In recent months, the IRRIGAVIT project has been actively promoted and disseminated through a series of national and international events. On March 26, 2025, project partners collaborated with the Interreg Europe communication offices to publish the article “Collaborating for water: Sustainable solutions across European borders”, as an introduction to the Interreg GO! Annual Event held in Gorizia. On March 28, during the session “Building a Greener Europe through Water Resilience and Integrated Management”, Prof. Paolo Sivilotti and Dr. Klemen Lisjak presented both IRRIGAVIT and ACQUAVITIS. The session was followed by a study visit to Villa Nachini Cabassi, headquarters of the Consortium for the Protection of the Wines of the Colli Orientali del Friuli and Ramandolo, where participants attended technical presentations and a wine tasting of Pinot Grigio produced under controlled water stress conditions. On April 2, Prof. Sivilotti held a free technical webinar hosted by the renowned journal INFOWINE, focusing on water’s role in vine physiology, with a case study on regulated deficit irrigation in Pinot Grigio, in collaboration with ITK and the VINTEL decision support system. Lastly, from April 27 to May 2, 2025, the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice research team participated in the European Geosciences Union (EGU) General Assembly, presenting a poster and abstract on the ecohydrological characterization of the experimental vineyard in Corno di Rosazzo, contributed by a multidisciplinary research group.
