On 12 and 13 October 2024, in Koper-Capodistria took place the workshop titled Exploring Tartini, dedicated to the figure of Giuseppe Tartini. The event provided an important opportunity for young musicians to immerse themselves in the repertoire and technique of Baroque music, as well as to contextualize the figure of the Maestro of Nations within the historical panorama of his time. The initiative was organized in collaboration with the Koper-Capodistria Music School and with the artistic contribution of Giulio D'Angelo, professor at the Giuseppe Tartini Conservatory of Music in Trieste, lead partner of the TARTINI BIS project. The workshop was led by musicologist Nejc Sukljan, an expert on Tartini and professor at the University of Ljubljana, with the support of the musicians from the Tartini Cross Border Youth Orchestra. The educational initiative concluded with a performance open to the public.
