In the fourth and final short video in the series produced as part of the Kras4us project, we present the process of establishing permanent grasslands on two pilot sites within the protected area of the Škocjan Caves Park. From two half-hectare forested areas, in less than two years we created two new open spaces that will gradually develop into authentic karst meadows, providing habitat for numerous endangered plant and animal species.
