On Monday 28 August, the third study visit of the POSEIDONE Project took place, organised by the WWF Protected Marine Area of Miramare, which involved the participants in the Sixth Edition of "WalKras" - the itinerant Summer School promoted by the Laboratory of the Way (LdC), an inter-university network of researchers and teachers, organised by Ph.D. Pian. Granceri Bradaschia, researcher at the IUAV - University Institute of Architecture of Venice. More than forty master's students, researchers and lecturers from 11 Italian universities took part in a guided walk that lead them from the cultivated terraces of the UNESCO MaB Biosphere Reserve near Prosecco to the small port of Grignano, from where they embarked to visit the mussel-farms along the Trieste coastline as far as Santa Croce, meeting with various stakeholders to discuss the multiple roles of these farms, true hotspots of biodiversity created by man
