On January 29, 2025, Bee2gether will be featured at Fieragricola TECH 2025, the leading event for the agricultural and agri-food sector, held at VeronaFiere. Within the Casa Veneto Stand (PalaExpo, Stand D4), the project's Lead Partner, Veneto Agricoltura, will host an informative session titled: “Innovation in Beekeeping: New Technologies and Potential”.
The session, scheduled for 10:30 AM and 2:30 PM, offers an opportunity to explore the innovations introduced by the project. Topics include the presentation of digital techniques for remote hive management, combining advanced data collection, transmission, and processing technologies with the needs of modern beekeeping.
Event highlights:
Presentation of the Bee2gether project by Serenella Spolon (Veneto Agricoltura).
Demonstration of the electronic hive, with technical explanations by Alessandro Zorer (Melixa S.r.l.).
Introduction to the app for remote hive control, presented by agronomist Giulio Volpi.
During the event, attendees can observe the electronic hive in action and learn about the application developed for real-time data collection and processing. The app will be made available for free to interested beekeepers.
Participation is free and open to everyone, including beekeepers and those interested in exploring innovative technologies to address environmental and climate challenges.
This activity is part of a module dedicated to training seminars for beekeepers and farmers on the use of new technologies in agriculture, organized in the project's target areas. Slovenian partners are preparing their respective seminars, scheduled in the coming months.
