The Circular Rainbow project will take part in the 30th Komenda Autumn Fair, scheduled from 3 to 5 October 2025, with an exhibition space dedicated to the promotion of innovative, sustainable and circular aquaculture.
At the stand, a large screen will display a video with Slovenian subtitles presenting the project’s objectives, goals and partner activities. To facilitate visitors’ understanding, explanatory materials will also be provided, including a diagram of a recirculating aquaculture system (RAS), which had already attracted considerable interest during the previous edition of the fair.
Communication will be supported by posters and brochures, already available in Slovenian and currently being translated into Italian. Special attention will also be given to the presentation of aquaculture products from a farm with a partial RAS system, such as rainbow trout caviar, smoked fish and pâté, to make the visitor experience more concrete and engaging.
The project’s participation in Komenda confirms the commitment of the Slovenian partners – the Faculty of Biotechnology, Department of Animal Science (University of Ljubljana) and the Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry of Slovenia – Agricultural and Forestry Institute Kranj (KGZS-Zavod KR) – in raising public awareness of the potential of sustainable aquaculture, capable of enhancing technological innovation and product quality.
