The project for the revitalization of cross-border areas in terms of urban planning, tourism and culture is being launched. A press conference to launch the project will be held on 06/14/2024 at 10 am at the headquarters of the Lead Partner SDAG S.p.A. a socio unico. The project, part of the Interreg VI A Italy-Slovenia Programme, aims to improve the tourist attractiveness of the cross-border area of Gorizia and Šempeter-Vrtojba, focusing on sustainable mobility and social inclusion. Collaborating with the European Capital of Culture 2025 Nova Gorica – Gorizia, it addresses the underuse of cross-border areas, the poor integration between tourist services and peri-urban areas, and linguistic and cultural barriers
