The Municipality of San Dorligo della Valle-Dolina invites you on Wednesday, 4 September 2024 to an exploration of Val Rosandra, as part of the European project ENGREEN2 - Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia. The walk, curated by Saimon Ferfolja, will start at 5 p.m. from "Centro visite della Riserva Naturale Regionale della Val Rosandra" (Bagnoli della Rosandra 507) and will reach Bottazzo, where we will stop for a picnic dinner (at one's own expenses) and for the show "Sui sentieri per l'Europa" (On the Paths to Europe) - written and directed by Mattia Cason with Mattia Cason, Alessandro Conte and Muhammad'Abd al-Mun'im with the Cultural Association Vicino/lontano ets.

The show - Sui sentieri per l'Europa - stems from the ‘e’ Project, which consists of 27 stages developed in five areas, and each area envisages a special event that combines the organisation of a historical-naturalistic excursion and the show with a meeting with speakers who are experts on the topics under investigation in order to stimulate dialogue and confrontation. We will take this opportunity during the presentation of the Interreg ENGREEN2 Project and also discuss European cross-border cooperation.

Through the languages of theatre, dance and cinema and a marked multilingualism, the show superimposes different temporal planes, from the contemporary to ancient history, from the last century to the eternal present of myth, to share with the audience a discourse on the centrality of migrations in the history of Europe, and above all on the need to see in contemporary migrations the key to a more united Europe, a more Afro-Asiatic Europe, a more European Europe. The 'e' Project is an artistic and cultural project supported by the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia and the programme "Go25! Nova Gorica Gorizia European Capital of Culture 2025", and is focused on an idea of a more united Europe, yet to be built, so united as to go beyond the concepts of Nation and West.
