Microscopy as an Opportunity for Technological Innovation

The event “Microscopy as an Opportunity for Technological Innovation” took place on May 29, 2025, at the EDA Center in Nova Gorica. Organized by the Primorska Technology Park within the framework of the ALL-MICRO project, the event brought together researchers, entrepreneurs, and innovation stakeholders to explore how advanced microscopy techniques can drive cross-border technological development and economic growth.

Participants had the opportunity to learn more about the ALL-MICRO network, which aims to strengthen collaboration between research institutions and businesses in Italy and Slovenia. The event highlighted how microscopy – often perceived as a purely scientific tool – can become a key asset for SMEs, medical centers, and tech startups looking to innovate and remain competitive.

Keynote presentations, networking sessions, and live demonstrations of microscopy technologies showcased the practical applications of research in real-world settings.
