A new section dedicated to sustainable mobility and slow tourism in the Gorizia area. The investment, carried out in the municipalities of Fogliano Redipuglia, San Pier d’Isonzo, Turriaco, Staranzano, and partly in Sagrado, completes the 18.71 km cycling connection included in the strategic European project ADRIONCYCLETOUR under the Interreg Italy–Slovenia Programme 2021–2027. The total value of the investment amounts to €872,577.73, of which €673,668.22 is funded by the European Union. The project represents a strategic component of the EUSAIR macro-strategy for the development of the Adriatic–Ionian cycling network and cross-border sustainable mobility. The activities included the upgrading of existing routes, the construction of new cycling sections, the installation of road signage, and the placement of urban furniture elements.
