On Saturday, 25 October, an orienteering event took place near the slopes of Mount Ermada, organized by the Municipality of Duino-Aurisina, project partner, together with the FISO FVG committee.
The event, which saw the participation of over 150 registered participants, aimed to erase the Italian-Slovenian borders that had divided these areas until a few years ago and to explore the Karst territory without borders.
From the educational farm Asino Berto in Ceroglie, the meeting point for participants, routes started that were suitable both for athletes and beginners, who—thanks to the high number of participants—were the key to the success of the day.
The athletes who chose the more technical routes found exactly what they were looking for among rocks, sinkholes, and forest, and were able to test their skills.
