The WABIN – Water Balance in the Cross-Border Interconnected Nature project, co-funded by the European Union under the Interreg VI-A Italy–Slovenia Programme, promotes a shared and participatory approach to the sustainable management of water resources in the cross-border basins of the Isonzo and Cellina-Meduna rivers.
The Slovenian Territorial Focus Group, organised by Clera One, Polo Tecnologico Alto Adriatico and Wigwam, in collaboration with the Isonzo River Contract, will provide an open platform for dialogue among institutions, businesses and stakeholders to identify joint strategies for the protection and enhancement of water as a common good, also in response to the effects of climate change.
The meeting will feature experts in the water management sector and representatives from Ajdovščina and Staranzano, followed by a participatory working session facilitated by Marco Abordi, aimed at gathering needs, good practices and ideas for integrated governance.
The event will be held in Italian and Slovenian, with simultaneous interpretation. Participation is free of charge but subject to registration.
