We are pleased to invite you to the Workshop titled “Best Practices for Climate Change Adaptation in Agriculture in the Veneto Region”, organized within the framework of the ECO2SMART project.

The event will take place on Thursday, March 13, 2025, starting at 9:30 AM, at the Paolotti Complex of the University of Padua, Via Giambattista Belzoni 7, 35131 Padua, Italy.

This workshop represents a unique opportunity to raise awareness among citizens about the importance of strengthening the resilience of agricultural areas to climate change through the implementation of ecosystem-based measures for adaptation and disaster risk prevention.

During the event, experts will discuss the importance of implementing climate change adaptation measures in agriculture using ecosystem-based approaches. In the second part of the workshop, participants will have the chance to discuss local challenges, needs, and opportunities for implementing these measures. It will also be an opportunity to foster cooperation among participants to develop joint actions for climate change adaptation in agricultural areas within the Interreg Italy-Slovenia program.

During the presentations, participants will be asked to write down questions, challenges, or topics they would like to explore further. These suggestions will then be used during the working groups to encourage a focused and constructive debate.

We invite you to actively participate and contribute to the success of the workshop. Should you need any further information or clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Further details can be found in the attached invitation.

We look forward to seeing you there!
