The series of meetings of the BioTech2Agri project continues with a new workshop scheduled in Italy, dedicated to exploring the biotech potential for innovation in agri-food supply chains across the Italy–Slovenia cross-border area.
The event, to be held in Pordenone at Hotel Moderno on May 9, 2025, will be moderated by F. Coletti (FAB FVG – Agrifood & Bioeconomy Foundation FVG). The core of the workshop will focus on the biotechnological potential of the cross-border area, with contributions from leading research and innovation experts.
The Digital Atlas of Biotechnologies in the Cross-Border Area will be presented – a tool designed to highlight local expertise and foster synergies in biotech innovation.
The day will conclude with a debate on building a cross-border innovation network and a networking session to strengthen connections among participants. The workshop represents another concrete step toward a structured and sustainable cross-border cooperation in the field of biotechnology applied to the agri-food sector.
