As part of the activities of the T4Rail IT-SI project, the University of Trieste will host the workshop entitled "Technological opportunities in cross-border railway operations between Italy and Slovenia: challenges and potential impacts", which will provide a space for discussion on interesting innovations in the railway sector.
The event will take place on 21st February 2025 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the main campus of the University of Trieste (Piazzale Europa 1, 34127 - Trieste), with the participation of railway undertakings, logistics companies and local entities responsible for transport issues.
The aim of the workshop is to identify the main critical points of the current cross-border railway services and the expected benefits coming from the implementation of technological interventions. The discussion among the participants will be structured in the form of focus groups in order to get insights into the topics at hand.
Given the format of the event, which will take the form of interactive focus groups, the workshop will be held in English.
