Representatives of all four partners of the Kras4us project (UP FAMNIT, DOPPS, Škocjanska Caves Park and LAS Kras) met on 4 February 2025 at the 2nd partner meeting in Škocjanska Bay in Koper.
After an introductory greeting and a financial report, we reviewed the work and activities of the project so far and discussed plans for the future. The first major event will be a two-day bioblitz in spring, followed by focus groups with different stakeholders, which will be the basis for a symposium in autumn. Other activities will be carried out in parallel, such as a pilot action to establish grasslands in the SSSI, inventories of species in Karst foothills, equipping snakes with GPS transmitters and other activities.
The next partnership meeting is planned for June.
