On Friday, 14 November 2025, the fourth partner meeting of the DATIS project – Digital Pioneers of Inclusive Tourism – took place at the University of Trieste (Gorizia campus). The project addresses digital accessibility and social inclusion for persons with disabilities and older adults in the cross-border region between Italy and Slovenia.
The meeting focused on reviewing project progress, exchanging experiences, and planning the next steps. Partners presented activities in the areas of dissemination, trainings, platform development, and pilot actions. They also discussed preparations for the final event and the project’s conclusion, emphasising continued cooperation, the exchange of good practices, and effective communication of results to the wider public.
It was agreed that the final partner meeting will take place in March 2026 in Nova Gorica.
Meanwhile, the DATIS project continues its efforts to improve digital accessibility and foster more inclusive tourism in the cross-border area.
