5th BeWoP project partner meeting in Gorizia
On Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 9 a.m., the 5th meeting of the BeWoP project partners took place at the EZTS GO/GECT GO premises in Gorizia. Representatives of all project partners attended the meeting.
The main part of the meeting was devoted to reviewing the project's achievements to date, discussing individual work packages, and planning activities until the end of the 4th reporting period and into the 5th period.
The partners discussed the progress of key project content, including the establishment of a database and research archive, the preparation of an action plan and strategy, the publication of the book Dolga pot do miru (The Long Road to Peace), the organization of international workshops with study visits, and the development and upgrade of the Walk of Peace mobile application. Special attention was paid to investments and implementation work in the field (Kolovrat, Cerje, Sabotin) and cultural and promotional activities such as eStoriabus, major cross-border events, and additional cultural programs in the Peace Trail area.
As part of the financial part of the meeting, the project's financial manager presented the use of funds up to the end of the third reporting period. At the project level, the required 25% use of funds was achieved. Partners with lower spending confirmed that they would carry out all planned activities and use the available funds by the end of the project. It was agreed that a request for a third reallocation of funds and an extension of the project duration would be submitted before the end of the fourth reporting period.
After the official part of the meeting, the partners continued working on the action plan and made additions and corrections based on joint discussions.
