ADRIONCYCLETOUR – BIKE BUS, FREE TRANSPORTS WITH BUS FROM KOPER TO THE CARST IN THE SEASON 2024

The Regional development centre of Koper, through the project ADRIONCYCLETOUR, Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia 2021-2027 programme, relaunches a service for passengers and bikers during the 2024 summer season. It’s the circular bus transport service for passengers and cyclists, or rather, the BICI BUS service. The bus transports are free and will be available on Saturdays and Sundays, from the 6ST of July till the 1st  of September 2024, on the route from Koper to the Carst (and back).

BIKE BUS is a free service for the inhabitants of the cross-border area and for visitors of the area, who will be able to use free bus transports till the 1st of September 2024, on the circular route: 


Koper (main bus station) – Kozina – Rodik – Škocjanske jame – Lipica – Divača - Sežana – Štanjel – Sežana – Divača – Škocjanske jame – Rodik – Kozina – Koper (main bus station).


The bus is equipped with a bike trailer (BIKE BUS), which is also free. The service takes place on weekends, the time table is attached to this message. The departures are from the main bus station in Koper. Seat reservations are not possible in advance.

 

This pilot action is co-funded by the European regional development fund (80%) and by the municipalities of Komen, Hrpelje-Kozina, Divača and Sežana (20%).
