Platinum Magazine Features ALL-MICRO
The November 2025 issue of Platinum magazine includes an article dedicated to the ALL-MICRO project, “Microscopy at the Service of Innovation and Research.”
The piece highlights how the Italy–Slovenia network is advancing scientific and industrial innovation by providing shared access to cutting-edge microscopy technologies and avoiding unnecessary duplication of equipment. It also emphasises the project’s strong focus on training and its long-term goal of expanding the cross-border infrastructure.
Updates from the November Consortium Meeting
The ALL-MICRO partners met online on 11 November 2025. Planning is underway for the next in-person meeting in Ljubljana in December, which will also include a visit to the JSI laboratories.
Partners reviewed the positive results of the October Optical Microscopy School, discussed improvements for future editions, and clarified participation rules for companies. The consortium also examined the request submitted to the Joint Secretariat for a four-month project extension and adjustments to Work Package 3, with feedback expected in mid-December.
To streamline pilot project activities, partners agreed to circulate all new analysis requests to the full ALL-MICRO and BOE network for rapid approval. Updates were also shared on the Winter School in Electron Microscopy, including eligibility considerations for applicants.
The meeting concluded with reflections on future collaboration opportunities and the intention to continue strengthening the network beyond the current funding period.
TEC4I FVG at the 2025 National Conference on Science Communication
