Board of Experts Meeting – 20th January 2025
The ALL-MICRO Board of Experts convened to discuss recent upgrades and future improvements. Key points included:
🔹 Upgrade of the SEM at UNG with a new gas line integration.
🔹 Proposal for an elemental SEM at CIMA to expand capabilities.
🔹 Software updates deemed eligible for funding, with a potential upgrade for the super-resolution microscope at CIMA.
🔹 Collaboration opportunities explored, including eligibility of external users.
General Meeting – 20th January 2025
Following the BoE meeting, all partners gathered for a general session. Highlights included:
📌 Registration for cloud storage and an updated technique flowchart.
📌 Justification guidelines for equipment upgrades.
📌 A step-by-step protocol for handling user inquiries (to be prepared by Thalhammer).
📌 Planning for upcoming events, including an international microscopy meeting in Slovenia (2025).
📌 Development of the ALL-MICRO project portal, with an upcoming meeting with the Nanoregion website designer.
🔬 Cross-Training Session – 4th-5th February 2025
A cross-training session hosted by Slovenian partners will take place on February 4-5, providing hands-on experience and fostering collaboration. Fanetti and Knavs will share the program details soon—stay tuned!
