A new tool to promote innovation, collaboration and growth in the construction sector is now available: the Circular.Buildings platform has been launched and is online at www.circularbuildings.eu.
The platform is one of the outputs of the Circular.Buildings project and was created with a specific aim: to offer businesses, technical professionals, citizens and stakeholders in the construction sector a practical space to support the transition towards more innovative, digital and circular economy-oriented models.
A platform designed to support innovation in the construction sector
Circular.Buildings provides content and tools tailored to the sector, including factsheets on circular economy best practices, in-depth analyses of industry innovations, short educational videos, and useful resources designed to introduce businesses and professionals to the tools, methods and solutions relevant to circular construction.
The platform also features a dedicated chatbot, which guides members of the public and professionals step by step through the available content, tools and opportunities.
Networking: making yourself known, finding businesses and building partnerships
Research carried out as part of the project has highlighted that one of the main obstacles to the spread of innovation in the construction sector is the lack of a strong network between the various players in the supply chain, particularly between Italy and Slovenia.
For this reason, one of the platform’s most strategic features is the networking section, designed to facilitate connections between businesses, consultants, designers, installers and other operators in the construction sector.
This space enables citizens to identify companies and professionals active in circular construction, whilst also offering companies and technicians the opportunity to be found, showcase their expertise, attract new potential clients, and forge partnerships and collaborations with other operators interested in developing innovative and sustainable solutions.
