On 26-27 May 2025, the Interreg Central Europe programme conference, entitled “From Results to Impact: Cooperation Takes Synergies Forward”, took place in Vienna. Bringing together more than 200 participants including experts, institutional representatives and project partners, the event provided a platform for discussion on strengthening the impact of Interreg funding and enhancing project results.
On 26 May, the event offered participants the opportunity to meet Interreg project contact persons. The 27 May conference opened with a speech by the Head of the Interreg Central Europe Managing Authority on the programme’s challenges and future. This was followed by an expert panel of national and European institutional representatives who discussed how cooperation and synergies can drive positive change in the regions of Central Europe.
Afterwards, a preview of the new strategic call for capitalisation for proposals aimed at building on existing achievements and addressing common challenges in the Central European regions was presented. This call will be open to all programme priorities, aiming to strengthen functional links between Central European regions by capitalising on existing results.
The event concluded with 8 thematic workshops, in which each transnational and cross-border project representative had the opportunity to present their project, illustrating outputs and capitalisation potentials. The aim of the conference was to facilitate the exchange of results, identify common objectives and prepare joint approaches for the future call.
