As the final outcome of the discussions with stakeholders during the participatory processes coordinated by Shoreline, we are sharing the Guidelines for the joint cross-border monitoring of marine mammals in the Northern Adriatic and the Guidelines for biodiversity monitoring in the Northern Adriatic through eDNA analysis, available in Italian, Slovenian and English.
Thanks to three Multistakeholder Forums for each document involving selected experts, we have integrated the work carried out by the project partners with the observations that emerged during the events. The contents of the guidelines were submitted for approval and validation by both stakeholders and partners, resulting in a document that reconciles the various viewpoints represented.
These two documents are aimed at managers and policy-makers to support them in the management of marine areas, taking into account the results obtained from the SeaInsights project and the observations of relevant stakeholders such as researchers or conservation experts.
