On December 4th , a cross-border workshop was held in Monfalcone dedicated to the exchange of experiences and best practices in the field of sustainable urban regeneration and energy efficiency. The event was organized as part of the European CO ADRIA project, which is part of the Interreg Italy-Slovenia program.
The workshop focused on concrete cases of sustainable interventions in urban areas, in particular the redevelopment of the Marina Julia area and the energy upgrading of residential buildings in Via Castellieri. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the results achieved, discuss the solutions adopted, and exchange experiences on the transferability of these measures to different local contexts.
The meeting brought together representatives of local communities, experts, and project partners from Italy and Slovenia, further emphasizing the importance of cross-border cooperation in achieving common goals such as climate neutrality, energy consumption reduction, and sustainable urban development.
