On Friday, with Cooperativa sociale Itaca and DEOS Celostna oskrba starejših, we participated in the Interreg GO! Health meeting, which brought together representatives and experts from all Interreg Programmes.
The expert group discussed the importance of cross-border cooperation to provide more accessible and quality health services. We learned about good practices from several European countries and border regions and discussed innovative solutions to the challenges of health and social care.
The importance of cross-border cooperation is also confirmed by the CrossCare 2.0 project, in which we are participating. The project, implemented within the Interreg Italia-Slovenia 2021-2027 Programme, addresses the challenges of population aging with the aim of improving cooperation between institutions and providers of health and social services, with a focus on integrated and personalized care for the elderly.
Connecting events are of utmost importance in today's uncertain times and represent a great opportunity to strengthen cooperation, friendship and develop new common strategies for sustainable and inclusive healthcare for all.
