On 17 December 2025, a dissemination event entitled “Innovation and digitalisation in support of logistics and green energy” was organised at Innovators Community Lab of the University of Trieste to present the results of some research projects focused on using advanced technology to boost efficiency and sustainability of freight transport and logistics in north-eastern Italy. These projects also included the T4RAIL IT-SI project, for which evidence from questionnaires on employability in the railway sector was presented. The audience at this dissemination event comprised private companies involved in both the transport and IT sectors, as well as research entities, university professors and students. The aim was to discuss possible solutions derived from applied research.
