On 11 December 2025, a dissemination event was organised at the University of Trieste to present the results of the T4RAIL IT-SI project’s activities concerning employability in the railway sector. The event was dedicated to university students, with the aim of raising their awareness of the requirements needed to work in the railway transport sector, as well as sharing with them the job opportunities available in this field. These two topics derive from two questionnaires which were developed in collaboration with the University of Ljubljana. The first was administered to railway companies, and the second to a sample of students and general population. The dissemination event stressed out that, despite the necessary dedicated training, the railway transport sector offers competitive and stimulating working conditions, also thanks to the implementation of digitalisation.
