As part of the TARTINI BIS project, on March 7 and 17, 2025, the Italian Union organized two workshops dedicated to the music of Giuseppe Tartini and its reinterpretations in a contemporary key. The workshops, held at the "Santorio Santorio" Italian Community in Koper-Capodistris and the "Giuseppe Tartini" Italian Community in Piran-Pirano, engaged students from local Italian and Slovenian schools in an interactive experience that bridged tradition and musical innovation.

Under the guidance of musicologist Margherita Canale, participants explored Tartini’s legacy and artistic influence. Maestro Tommaso Luison, violinist and professor of Baroque music, presented his experimental reinterpretations of some of Tartini’s most renowned compositions, incorporating electronic instruments such as loop stations and synthesizers. Students had the opportunity to experiment firsthand with electronic music creation, supported by expert Andrej Rojec.
In Piran-Pirano, the workshop was enriched by the presence of Proteus Noir and Benjamin Shock, renowned music producers and performers known for their avant-garde experimentation. Both were present on March 8th for the Tartini Electronic event.
This initiative successfully introduced young audiences to Tartini’s music from a modern perspective, highlighting its versatility and its enduring influence on contemporary music.
