The municipality of Postojna continues its efforts to improve waste management. As part of the Waste Design 2.0 project, a new underground waste collection site has been established in Landol. This is another important step towards better waste separation in the municipality, as the new underground site allows for more efficient collection and separation of waste. It is designed for the collection of paper and cardboard, plastic and metal, as well as glass packaging. The municipality of Postojna now has five such underground waste collection sites.
