With the signature on 28 August, the INTER BIKE III capitalisation project continues the excellent results of the previous INTER BIKE II of the Interreg Italia – Slovenia 2014-2020 programming period.
The main goal is to promote the development of cycling tourism as a form of sustainable economic development in the cross-border area along the cycling links Adriabike (Kranjska Gora-Ravenna), D7 (Robič-Jelšane) and FVG3 ("Pedemontana e del Collio"). This will be achieved by improving access to attractions along these routes by upgrading cycling infrastructure and by establishing a management structure for the D7 and FVG3 routes.
The Lead Partner is Regijska razvojna agencija ROD, which will collaborate together with 5 project partners and 2 associated partners.
The project is scheduled to start on 1st October 2023. The duration will be 24 months.
