An invitation to CROSS BORDERS

A visual metaphor for openness and dialogue. This is how one could define the sculpture Sconfinando / Preseganje meja, which was officially inaugurated yesterday, 29 October, in the event space of the Gas Vertejba association as part of the CREW – Visioni incrociate / Križišče vizij project.

The short ceremony was attended by the author of the work, artist Beatrice Taponecco, winner of the international competition for the creation of public sculptures, launched in April 2025 by Kulturni dom Nova Gorica, one of the partners of the Crew project. (photographs of the inauguration are by Saša Mrak.)
