On 9 May 2026, the KAŠTellieri project was successfully presented in Koper as part of the Europe’s Good Stories Festival, dedicated to the preservation and promotion of prehistoric cultural heritage.
Visitors at Taverna Koper had the opportunity to learn about the project activities and discover the rich heritage of the hillforts – ancient fortified settlements that represent an important part of the history of the cross-border area. Special interest was attracted by the tablet weaving workshop and the presentation of the archaeological excavations at the Elerji hillfort, where visitors learned about the importance of research and preservation of cultural heritage for future generations. 🏺✨
The KAŠTellieri project was presented at the event by Dr. Maša Saccara from ZRS Koper and project manager Uroš Jelenovič from the City Municipality of Koper, who introduced visitors to the project objectives, partner activities, and the importance of cross-border cooperation in revitalising cultural heritage.
The event took place in a pleasant and creative atmosphere, successfully connecting cultural heritage, education, and social interaction among visitors of all generations.
Thank you to everyone who visited us and contributed to the success of the event! 💚
