The kick off meeting of the project Primis Plus - Stories of multiculturalism: a sensory journey through the prism of minorities, financed by the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia Programme 2021 - 2027, took place on Thursday, 21 September 2023, at the Creative Incubator "Istria" (TPC St. Lucia - Portorož).
The objective of the project is the development of a joint cross-border tourist and linguistic promotion strategy over the entire Programme area. In this sense, the aim is to capitalise on the excellent results already achieved by the Primis project, financed in the previous Intrerreg V Italy - Slovenia 2014 -2020 programming period. The expansion of the network of multimedia centres and the enhancement of multilingualism will play a crucial role in this regard.
The day started with the welcome greetings followed by the introduction by the Association of the Italian National Community, Lead Partner of the project. Subsequently, each Project Partner presented the activities they will develop and the synergy with which they will collaborate. The second part of the speech focused on the reporting and administrative management of the project.
